As a Junior Credit Analyst you will be responsible for:

• Collecting and verifying data from counterparties and other sources for the preparation of credit reviews
• Providing credit analysis and preparing credit review proposals for submission to the Credit Committee
• Ongoing monitoring and maintaining of counterparty credit review requirements
• Monitoring of financial markets and financial press which impact on counterparties
• Assisting the preparation of weekly Credit Committee minutes
• Assisting the preparation of weekly excess reports for weekly Credit Committee
• Assisting the checking facility documentation
• Providing support on ad hoc projects as directed by the Head of Credit & Risk

As a Junior Credit Analyst you will need:

• To be truly interested in a career within Credit
• To have analytical skills gained within a financial institution, with some experience writing credit applications
• The ability to form and justify independent credit decisions
• Have some knowledge of financial brokerage business lines (i.e. futures & options, FX)
• To have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal & external clients
• To be a persuasive communicator (both written & verbal) with confidence when being challenged
• To be educated to a degree level or have gained equivalent professional qualifications
