Once training is complete on the relative areas the candidate will be able to manage their own work with further development geared to more complex transactions. This role is for someone who would like the opportunity to learn and be supported with the main requirement being a desire to learn and progress.

As a Junior Loans Specialist you will be responsible for:

• Firstly starting on the transfers desk, to be used as a development ground for understanding the booking system LIQ
• Booking loans and manage all loan related activity such as interest and fee payments, drawdowns, rollovers, prepayments, ad hoc payments etc.
• Administration of waivers and amendments
• Managing ad hoc waterfalls and distributions
• Responding to lender and borrower queries/requests in English and French (written and verbal) work very closely with Relationship Managers and management on ad hoc deal requests and projects

As a Junior Loans Specialist you will be need:

• To be fluent in French and English
• Loans or other Financial based experience
• Quick learner
• Ability to take initiative and work well unsupervised
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks accordingly
• Strong work ethic, a proactive approach and a can do mentality
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism
• Team player
• LoanIQ exposure advantageous
