My Client, a Japanese trading firm, are adding an additional Administrator to their Pan-European Logistics team due to an incline in business trade.
The ideal Administrator will have experience within an import/export trade business working as a sales, logistics or purchase administrator.
It is key that the successful candidate has strong ability to manage their time, and prioritise customer needs when last minute orders come in with short time frames to deliver.
This role has full autonomy and ownership of workload, therefore needs someone who understands how Logistics and Taxes work when moving goods in, out and around the EU.
- Coordinate shipments / deliveries / import & export custom clearance with suppliers / customers/ logistics vendors, etc.
- Issue Invoices to customers etc, and monitor payments.
- Arrange payments to suppliers, vendors.
- Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally
- General admin tasks
- SAP experience
There will be some ad hoc European travel for inventory checks (two - three times per year)
