About the opportunity

As a Senior Accountant, you will deliver taxation and accounting services to an allocated number of high net worth clients. You will also help drive your supporting team to meet business KPIs, deliver exceptional client experience and reinforce the business standards.

Specific responsibilities:

• Review and prepare Tax Returns, Financial statements, Tax Compliance reports including BAS reporting and management reports
• Provide proactive tax advice and compliance solutions and be able to communicate the strategic advice simply to clients
• Ensure financial records are maintained, meeting all compliance standards, policies and procedures
• Ensure monthly, quarterly and year-end processes are completed on time
• Monitor and support taxation requirements
• Maintain quality control and accuracy of deliverables
• Build a culture of excellence through effective communication with the team
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients

Skills and experience

• Significant experience in a similar client facing Accountant role within a quality UK accounting firm
• ACA/ACCA qualified or nearing completion
• Good understanding of Xero essential, XPM and Xero Tax experience advantageous
• Excellent communication skills and clear ability to easily build rapport
