Job description
An exciting opportunity has become available working as a Marketing Manager for a client of mine within the Financial Services sector.
A permanent position, with hybrid working of 4 days in the office based near Victoria in London.
As Marketing Manager, you will play a central role within the firm, managing the public presence, digital footprint, handling all marketing materials and thought leadership efforts. This is a newly created role focussing on expanding the exposure and branding, offering the candidate an opportunity to shape the role and the business. A standalone role with direct access to all areas within the business and freedom to build the marketing function as you see fit.
Responsibilities as Marketing Manager
- Develop and manage the company's marketing strategies, including content strategy, calendar, and all marketing plans.
- Work with all areas of the business on creating appropriate content, coming up with ideas and ensuring consistent tone of voice.
- Run and manage the company social media channels and post consistent content, ensuring full compliance.
- Manage and refresh the company's suite of marketing materials, with opportunity to work on company branding.
- Aid in the design and refresh of the company website and landing pages.
- Plan and co-run events across the business, working with founders, portfolio companies and external parties.
- Work across both internal and external communications, ensuring regular contact with both members of the business and their clients.
- Work with senior stakeholders on personal branding and marketing across their social media channels.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 4 years' experience within Financial Services or Tech or similar is preferred
- Strong Marketing experience including creating and implementing strategies.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with ability to come up with your own ideas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Good stakeholder management experience (working across C-suite individuals)
- Able to work autonomously, problem solve and multitask.
- A passion for helping growth of a marketing function.
This a permanent opportunity, paying around £80,000 per annum with strong company benefits. Hybrid working of 4 days in their office based near Victoria in London (some flexibility allowed).
