Job description

My client are a specialist investment manager based in the west end of London with extensive expertise in the media, real estate, infrastructure and education sectors. They are currently looking for a Media Operations Manager to join their growing team.

Key Accountabilities

In respect of all of my clients funds and services, manage all operational aspects, to include the following:

  • Investor Communications - Responsible for writing investor communications for the Media Funds, liaising with the various Fund Heads and the Finance team to gather the correct information and prepare accurate and consistent comms with my clients style and tone. Liaising with Client Services and the operations team to ensure those comms are prepared and delivered within the expected deadlines.
  • Communications Calendar - Review and keep up to date the communication calendar and communications materials for the Media Funds e.g. letters, statements, NAVs(valuations), distribution - reflecting a consistent style and tone.
  • Investor Queries - Provide support to Client Services in managing the timely and accurate response to all investor queries. This will involve liaising with the Business Development Team, the Fund Teams and Finance Team to find the required information and communicating the response to Client Services.
  • Exit Process - Managing the exit process for EIS companies, including co-ordinating such exit processes across Fund Team/Finance/Client Services.
  • Investment Company Monitoring - Managing the monitoring of all investment Companies to ensure the Company directors have all necessary information required to run the Companies effectively, to include liaising with the Finance Team to set up all necessary board meetings and co-ordinating the flow of information from Commercial to the Company directors.

Role Requirements

  • Strong academic record and educated to degree level or equivalent;
  • Ideally, experience providing support to Fund Managers with regards to fund administration processes/department including examples of where you have implemented and managed processes and protocols within a business.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong written English.
  • A confident and strong communicator and relationship builder, with experience of working with multiple business functions to achieve common goals.
  • Sound judgement, adaptability and the ability to influence to achieve success.
  • An enthusiastic, can do attitude. A driven individual with ambition and the desire to achieve results.
