A lucrative opportunity with a dynamic Hedge Fund has appeared. They are looking for an Operations Analyst with some relative experience to join their ever growing team. What you'll do:


You will be joining a relatively small but established technical operations team, with close alignment
and integration with our established and experienced engineering/data-science departments. You will
be responsible for investigating, documenting, reporting and improving both critical and non-critical
operational and business requirements.
The work will involve daily monitoring and investigation of issues which require resolution in order to
ensure the operational and business continuity of our primary pipelines/systems. These will be, but
not limited to the following:


● Monitoring pipelines & day to day checklists
● Issue/Error documentation, reporting and resolution
● Daily reconciliation (P&L, Trades, Positions, Cash...)
● Daily risk monitoring
● Act as a focal point for resolution of all operational issues
● Maintain good relationships with custodians and fund admins
● Recommending future modifications / product improvements and features
● Provide daily backup and operational support to key stakeholders and teams
● Building, developing and improving daily processes
● Communicating operational achievements to the wider teams
● Generating reporting structures/formats
● Evaluating data
● Performing statistical analysis
● Spreadsheets, analytical tools and third party web portals

What you will bring to the role:


● Data Analysis and problem solving skills
● Knowledge and experience of working with multiple data types
● Good communication skills
● Quantitative degree in Finance, Maths, Economics or a related discipline
● Relevant industry experience of at least 3 years+ in a hedge fund or similar organisation
● Experience with Python is required
● The ability to constructively participate in and facilitate technical and functional discussions
● Experience of working in an Agile working environment
