Job description

Expanding Global Organisation seeks a Pay & Bill Accountant to provide high quality customer service to their client. This is a newly created role and will support high growth over the next 12 months across five brands.

Duties of the Pay & Bill Accountant include:

  • Processing and uploading timesheets and expense data onto our timesheet software in line with weekly and monthly payroll schedules
  • Checking details and issuing invoices for permanent recruitment placements
  • Allocating incoming e-mails to our central inbox in line with relevant categories
  • Working with the compliance team to ensure contractors are compliant and approved before they are paid
  • Review use of current invoice and timesheet system and suggest / make changes as needed
  • Keeping contractor payroll checklist maintained and up to date
  • Checking contractor's timesheet to approved timesheets
  • Issuing invoices to clients via email or client portals
  • Ensuring client invoicing protocols are followed to ensure they are processed for prompt payment
  • Responding to timesheet and invoice related queries
  • Opportunity to mould current processes to best practice as required.
  • Ad-hoc projects

Skills required for the Pay & Bill Accountant include:

  • Ideally 3 years plus within a recruitment company
  • Worked with international clients and candidates who are based internationally.
  • Works with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good spoken and written communication skills when dealing with clients, contractors, and sales consultants
  • Possesses a curious and problem-solving attitude when dealing with issues
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and cope under pressure
  • Used to working in a fast moving and demanding sales, and ideally recruitment
