Job description

Payroll Officer required for a global recognised business operating out of the city. Experience of managing an in-house payroll from start to finish including the process of benefits.

  • Liaise with the HR to carry out any changes to the monthly payrolls.
  • Prepare the monthly payroll and periodic calculations
  • Receive emails from HMRC and access HMRC website to make changes to tax codes, student loan deductions, etc.
  • Transmit salaries and allowances by BACS to HSBC under the supervision
  • Distribute pay slips and advices.
  • Prepare schedules for various payments to Hospital Savings Association, UKT Rent, and Court Orders etc. and arrange the monthly payment
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly costings for payroll and give the journal to the Accounts team for input to the accounting software
  • Reconcile HMRC monthly payment of PAYE and National Insurance contributions (NICs) and arrange payment of funds to HMRC.
