Job description

Our client, are looking for a proactive Payroll Assistant to coordinate information between the internal HR teams, payroll lead and third-party payroll provider for their EU payrolls.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as a point of contact for payroll queries

  • Support the preparation of the payroll on a monthly basis (salaried & hourly paid employees)

  • Ensure accurate information is reported to the payroll provider/s

  • Support all related duties involved with time, attendance and absence (and any other ad hoc payments) in line with current legislation

  • Support to ensure all relevant social security, tax and other third-party payments are processed accurately and on time

  • Produce monthly payroll reports as required

  • Process all earnings and deductions

  • Develop & maintain professional relationships with the outsourced payroll providers

  • Continuously review ways of working and seek improvements and efficiencies

  • You will support and provide cover for the EU Payroll Lead with day-to-day administration

Skills & experience:

  • Proven experience managing third party providers

  • Experience in key territories, Germany, France and Netherlands

  • Confident in the use excel

  • Language skills are desired but not essential
