Job description

Our client who are a growing Fintech firm are looking to hire a People Director which is a newly created position due to the growth of the business to support the Board.

In this role, you will serve as a member of the management team and a thought partner to the CEO to provide HR insights with regards to talent, leadership, coaching, employee relations, engagement, culture, compensation, organisational design and change, performance management, learning, and development.

Job Responsibilities has People Director:

  • International People Strategy - playing a key role in the strategic delivery and implementation across the business, both in the UK and internationally
  • Organisational Leader - demonstrating an innovative mindset to develop new ways of working across a diverse network of employees to optimise work, performance and delivery in accordance with our growth plans
  • HR Change Management - a solution orientated change leader, directly contributing to developing the overall people strategy in accordance with the business strategy
  • Cultural Influencer - being a strong storyteller with the ability to effectively embed the Zilch shared values across employees, customers and clients and reinforcing this throughout the full recruitment and employee lifecycle
  • People Data and Analytics - using data and technology to drive productivity and forecast workforce trends by working alongside the Head of Talent and Head of People
  • Diversity and Inclusion Strategy - key focus on diversity and inclusion as a competitive business advantage as well as having the ability to develop positive initiatives to drive engagement
  • Management Training - conducting executive and leadership training across the business
  • Employee Engagement - focus on the company employee engagement strategy, embedding core principles and a culture of continued engagement
  • Leadership Oversight - overseeing and working alonsgide the Head of Talent and Head of People, and their respective teams, driving them towards success

Ideal Candidate will have:

  • HR & People Operations, change management and management experience
  • Previous experience of leading, delivering and implementing a people strategy within a fast-paced organisation, preferably within fintech
  • Proven experience when hiring, mentoring, coaching, and developing a high performing People organization
  • Established company wide Diversity, Equity and Inclusion goals and diversity metrics that have been incorporated into performance, compensation, and retention
  • CIPD qualified
