Our client, a famous hair salon, is searching for a part qualified (preferably finalist) to join their exciting team in the finance division. This is a temporary contract for 6 months with a view to go permanent. This is a real opportunity for a finalist to complete their exams and get the experience needed to join the fully qualified ranks of accountants.

THE POSITION

We are seeking a technically strong, proactive and responsive PQ Accountant to commence as soon as can be negotiated. You will be responsible for ensuring the collection, processing and validation of financial information in an accurate and timely manner, so that it can be used in the strategic development and decision-making processes for the Colleges. There will be a high focus on evaluating and improving business process. The role will also provide hands-on support as required including accounts receivable, payable and payroll.

The incumbent will report to the Financial Controller.

THE CANDIDATE

• The ideal candidate will be a finalist of either ACCA or CIMA with s Strong understanding of the fundamentals of accounting.

• A positive attitude, enthusiasm and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
