Job description

My client, a global Asset Manager based near Fitzrovia and Marylebone are looking for a Product Documentation Specialist to join their Global Product Team. Successful candidates will be fluent in Spanish, have experience with Product/Fund Documentation, Project management and Luxembourg Funds.

As a Product Documentation Specialist you will be responsible for:

Product Documentation

  • Drafting, negotiating, reviewing and updating product documentation focusing on, but not limited to, prospectuses, shareholders' notifications and other constituent documents.
  • Negotiating changes to product documentation with internal stakeholders (including but not limited to compliance, risk, legal, operations and marketing), obtaining and documenting their approval where required.

Project Management

  • Monitoring or implementing changes to existing products, g. new share class launches, changes to comparative indices/reference benchmark, amendments to Investment guidelines and derivative usage.

Relationship Management

  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with third-party providers, including but not limited to, external legal counsel, administrator, custodian, fund data providers, external distributors.

Product Intelligence

  • Updating product databases, ensuring information about new funds and product changes is communicated promptly and without mistakes.
  • Monitoring existing product ranges to ensure they remains competitive, recommending changes where
  • Producing periodical reports for distributors and data

As a Product Documentation Specialist you will need:

  • Experience in Asset Management/Financial With particular experience/understanding of:
    • UCITS and AIFs
    • Regulatory developments
    • Experience with Luxembourg funds
    • Expert understanding of the product development lifecycle
  • Fluent Spanish and English speaker highly
  • Fluent in project management disciplines
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop effective partnerships with key business partners, including Legal, Compliance, Tax, Risk, Operations, Fund Accounting, Custody and fund data
  • Educated to degree Preferably in Law, Business Administration or similar discipline.
