KennedyPearce are partnering with a Global Real Estate company based in London. This company comprises 19 countries/emirates with 2,300 employees. The division has gone through exponential growth over the last 10 years from a turnover growing from £80m to £250m+ in 2021. This has been achieved through organic growth and acquisitions. Each country has a financial representation, but all financial consolidation, in addition to monthly variance analysis, business reviews, investment reviews and strategic planning is managed by the Central EME Finance team.

You will be working 3 days in a beautiful London office with 2 days from home. The initial contracting period is 5/6 months but there is potential scope to go perm (+ sponsorship opportunity).

The Role:

• Review of European Country Balance sheets including review of local supporting reconciliations with a view to clean up historic balances and improve visibility of movements
• Review of country reporting packs/information requests with a view to streamlining this in light of findings from the balance sheet review
• Linking in to the above, supporting development of balance sheet controls currently being undertaken through an existing 'UK SOX' workstream
• Overhaul of the Hyperion consolidation journals process, streamlining the number of journals and the posting process
• Support through the consolidation/year end close process in Jan 2023
