The Company
Leading global alternative asset manager with employees located in the United States, Europe and Asia. This listed business specialises in private equity and real estate and has grown over the years to become a leading business in its field.
The Role
A position has arisen in the Real estate division for an Analyst.
The role will be focused on the extraction, transformation and analysis of data used by the real estate Accounting team, working closely with external service providers (who host the majority of the business data) and internal teams to build automated data processes and analytics.
The key responsibilities are
Financial Reporting and Management
- Instruct and oversee fund administrators
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers
- Oversee calculation of fund AUM, NAV, management fees, performance fees and cost recharges
- Oversee preparation of fund financial statements, investor reporting and head office reporting packs
- Provide deal support, including financial analysis and execution of deal cashflows
- Oversee cash movements and reserves
- Review and approve fund costs and expense recharges
- Monitor cash and manage cash distribution process
- Manage fund audit and tax reporting processes
- Review capital call and distribution notices and cash allocation schedules
Portfolio Management
- Manage the fund valuation process, maintaining fund models, proving scenario/sensitivity analysis, key property and financial metrics and KPIs
Treasury
- Cash management, manage fund level debt facilities and manage FX risk
You will be expected to build strong working relationships across the European Real Estate operation (including with members of the Investment team
Experience & Qualification
- Qualified accountant/Finalist
- Real estate/private equity industry experience
- Strong financial analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Enthusiastic, hardworking, and a team player
- Strong Excel skills, prior experience with BI tools (QlikView, Tableau, Business Objects) desirable
Salary & Benefits
