My client is a multinational focussed on the technology space and is market leaders within their industry across Europe and, soon to be across the globe.. This is the chance to join their Head office in Berlin as the Senior Java Backend Developer where you will play a key role in optimising and upgrading my clients' systems, this role will grow as the business does so the career opportunities really are fantastic.

Role:

• Solve complex engineering problems to enhance our service and the overall customer experience, watch how your contributions drive new levels of quality for our users
• You love team collaboration and feel comfortable working together with your peers (i.e. pair programming, cross team as a large part of the role is to debate with colleagues on solutions)
• You believe in simplicity and enjoy practices such as TDD and clean code
• You have a proven work experience writing Microservices and you are familiar with Spring Boot and Apache Kafka
• You are familiar with Docker and/or Kubernetes and with continuous delivery practices
• You have a strong foundation on OOP principles and design patterns

• Refine and grow your expertise in areas like Continuous Integration, Microservices, Stream Processing, Event-driven architectures, reactive systems, RESTful APIs and other related key topics
