Job description


An fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Recruitment and Talent Development Manager to join this Global Investment company based in the heart of the West End.
Assisting the HR Director you will focus on quality of hires from junior to partner level. Experience / flexibility to support other key HR processes (e.g. analytics, strategy, talent management) is also a key part of this position, as is, that you are happy to work and assist across work boundaries.
Main duties

  • Recruitment and Selection
  • Liaise with Heads of Department to review recruitment requirements/ costs / budgets / business cases
  • Ensure all annual recruitment activity is budgeted and assist with the annual budgeting process
  • Track recruitment performance and key performance indicators
  • Oversee the smooth running of the MBA recruitment drive twice a year (full-time and internships) at US and European business schools
  • Look at ways for proactive use of sources such as Linked In and efinancial careers to maximise direct recruitment and regularly explore / use other direct sourcing methods. Agree / negotiate packages with direct candidates (within agreed parameters)
  • Oversee agency relationships and performance. Negotiate fees / terms and conditions
  • Review and, where appropriate, implement and evaluate alternative psychometric testing methods by liaising with Partner HR and Corporate Psychologist
  • Offer new approaches to recruiting roles, for example via new testing approaches (online job specific tests via Survey Monkey for example), new interview processes etc
  • Work closely with executive search firms where appropriate including managing the firm selection process, candidate spec, communication, interviews, offer process and fee arrangements
  • Ensure the current Applicant Tracking System meets business needs and is running smoothly
  • Manage the Careers page on the web site
  • Reporting: provide regular statistics via a "dashboard" on turnover/joiners/leavers/key HR issues to the Board and other Committees
  • Manage the Recruitment & Training Coordinator including overseeing the efficient management of the work experience programme, temp / contractor renewals and the MBA logistics


Essential

  • Substantial in-house experience in recruitment & selection.
  • Strong individual track record, including track record in continuous improvement / innovation
  • Talent Management experience
  • Experience in blue chip organisations or Professional Services
  • Able to think outside the box and develop new strategies to ensure the aims of the business are successful


Desirable

  • Experience in one of more of the following:-
    • a recruitment agency (in addition to in-house recruitment)
    • working in a smaller company
    • PE sector


Degree. Relevant Bachelor's Degree
CIPD or Master's degree (an advantage)
Salary : £80K - £85K
Location: West End / Central London
Duration: FTC until the end of the year
Start Date: Immediate
