KennedyPearce are partnering with a sports media agency who are hiring two interim Statutory Accountants/ Financial Accountants to join the team for a 3 month contract (with potential extension). You will be available to start in January.The pay range is varied depending on experience and PAYE/Umbrella.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
• Support with the preparation and completion of UK statutory audits
• Support the Financial Controller with the documentation of internal controls processes
• Assist with the development and improvement of accounting and internal controls processes, as well as compliance with new accounting standards.
• Assist with the implementation of financial controls and internal controls
• Assist with resolving issues from the AX system conversion
• Assist with the reconciliation of Intercompany balances and implementing a monthly reconciliation process to achieve intercompany matching
• Assist with the reconciliation between the Royalty Reporting system (Brand Comply) and the AX Booking Report
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Several years PQE
