Job description

KennedyPearce are recruiting a Treasury Analyst on behalf of a leading media company based in West London.

This role is within a small, busy international Treasury team whose responsibilities span the globe.

This role is involved in managing and forecasting the day-to-day cash requirements of International, monitoring of banking and all that those activities entail.

Responsibilities

  • Modelling of groups cash flow projections essential
  • Production of Treasury Reporting
  • Process improvements
  • Use of Treasury Management System - SunGard Quantum 6
  • Managing of Bank Mendes Gans (BMG) cash-pool
  • Assisting with Intercompany Netting System operation (BMG)
  • Working closely with and obtaining data from other finance teams in producing reports
  • Support team with banking documentary requirements
  • Lead AML / KYC conformity with bank requirements
  • Supporting other members of the team and providing backup
  • Maintaining of bank fee analysis
  • Being pro-active regarding all treasury aspects of cash management
  • Input ability for all electronic bank transfer systems
  • Ad Hoc project work
  • Building day to day relationship with banks
  • May involve travel

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of working in finance role
  • Modelling experience essential
  • Excellent Knowledge of Excel required
  • Experience of using bank payment and reporting systems required
  • Experience of Treasury Management Systems an advantage
  • Experience of working for a large corporate
  • Understanding of the wider business useful
  • Strong communication skills and sensitivity to the cultural differences in the regions
  • Diligent, responsible, honest & reliable person required
  • Team player but also must exhibit the ability to work on own initiative within the demands of the role and team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount
  • Willing to learn from all members of the team, be adaptable and independent thinking
  • Further training and qualification encouraged (ACT qualification (ICM))
