Accounting for capital expenditures, disposals, transfers, and impairments
Calculating and posting depreciation, amortisation, and revaluation adjustments
Preparing monthly and year‑end close entries related to fixed assets and capital projects
Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for capital spend
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards such as IFRS, UK GAAP, and relevant tax regulations
Collaborating with project managers and finance teams to monitor project costs and capitalisation criteria
Assisting with audit queries and producing schedules for external and internal auditors
Implementing and improving internal controls around asset acquisition, disposal, and depreciation
