Typical responsibilities for Trader / Broker roles include:
Executing trades across equities, fixed income, FX, or derivatives on behalf of institutional or corporate clients
Providing market intelligence, pricing, and trade ideas to clients and internal teams
Maintaining and developing client relationships to drive business growth and improve trade flow
Monitoring market trends, economic data, and technical indicators to inform trading strategies
Managing risk within approved limits, adhering to regulatory and compliance frameworks
Working closely with sales, research, and operations teams to deliver end-to-end trade support
Using trading platforms and order management systems such as Bloomberg, Fidessa, or Eikon
Recording trades and ensuring timely confirmations and reconciliations with counterparties
Supporting new product development or market entry strategies
Ensuring full compliance with FCA regulations and internal control procedures
