Our Client, a leading FMCG wholesaler are looking to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team. This a varied role, reporting directly to the Management Accountant. Our client is looking for an experienced individual who is keen to develop with their career in accounting.
Key Responsibilities as Assistant Management Accountant:
Create Product Costings for new and existing business
Collate & Maintain information from other departments to produce costings
Sales support with new projects – coordinating actions with site
Close cooperation with sales & commercial representatives
Provide reports when requested by management
Cover AP Processes where needed
Creating and posting general ledger journals.
Cover Month End Reporting
Cover VAT/Intrastat reporting
1-2 years previous accounting experience
Product costings experience
Strong numeracy and literacy skills
Attention to detail
AAT qualification would be beneficial
This role is a fixed term contract for 9 months, with the scope to go permanent.
