This fast-paced nationally recognised healthcare business is seeking an experienced Credit Control Supervisor to join its team on a temporary basis with prospects to covert to permanent. This position is for a diligent and initiative-taking Credit Control Supervisor to lead a team in a fast-paced Accounting & Finance department within a Health Care Provider. The Credit Control Supervisor should be adept at leading a team of credit controllers as well as demonstrating strong leadership skills.
Duties for the Credit Control Supervisor include:
Lead, mentor, and develop the credit control team.
Contacting customers both over the phone and email
Dealing with escalations including credit notes and invoicing queries,
Reporting and analysis of outstanding debt
Day to day supervision of the teams including training, support, and delegation of tasks.
Managing a ledger of accounts.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to credit control.
Contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures.
Checking processes are being adhered to including, remittances, cash allocations, Cash Forecasts.
Maximise cash collections.
Stakeholder relationships
High volume query resolution
Requirements for the Credit Control Supervisor include:
Previous experience in similar role, within a finance environment, is essential.
A can-do attitude with willingness to lead a team.
Ability to work in a changing and fast paced environment.
Prioritising and organising your workload to meet deadlines,
Experience with multiple platforms and data sets. Sage / Unit 4 experience preferred.
Healthcare / NHS credit control experience
Stakeholder relationship management
Excellent communication and people skills (written, verbal and over the telephone)
