Finance Business Partner

  • 6 months FTC

The Company


Top tier Multinational corporation, this organisation is one of the globes leading organisations. They have a significant presence within European and Asian regions and are widely recognised for their corporate culture, remuneration and benefits and career/skill development. They have a newly created Finance Business Partner position that has been designed as part of a wider domestic finance uplift.

The Person

The successful candidate will be at least 3 years post Qualified ACA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent and preferably from a large multinational company background.

  • Demonstrable knowledge of accounting treatments (UK GAAP and IFRS);
  • Clear analytical thinker, with the ability to solve complex problems and issues;
  • Ability to initiate action, provide direction and take responsibility;
  • Proven track record of driving process improvement;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • MS Office with Advanced Excel skills


The role

Support the Financial Controller to evaluate existing processes and to develop a Standard Way of Working across the department

Support the Financial Controller in the delivery of business partnering initiatives, including:

  • Deliver timely and accurate financial reports in accordance with IFRS and local statutory requirements;
  • Support the development of appropriate internal controls to ensure conformance and compliance with groups policies and J-SOX;
  • Ensure the timely delivery of supporting information for internal and external audits;
  • Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions;
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and proactively follow up any outstanding issues;
  • Support the business and logistic departments in the preparation and execution of the annual stock take and follow up;
  • Proactively support FX position reporting to Treasury Team;
  • Proactively manage Intercompany/Group reconciliations;
  • Provide guidance and support to business departments and regional corporate departments as required.
