Global Technology Organisation seeks a Financial Accountant to join their team on a 6 month temporary assignment. The Financial Accountant would have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and be able to prioritise work.

Duties of the Financial Accountant include:

• Preparation of account reconciliations, including analysis and clean-up of historic balances, for multiple entities
• Assist with audit queries for Spain and UK entities and filings.
• Assist with other regulatory and tax filings and related information.
• Month-end close process, which may include journal entries. intercompany balancing and other tasks
• Preparation of the annual reviews.
• Preparation of year-end balance sheet analysis for quarterly reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual returns.
• Preparation of financial statements
• Ad hoc project work.

Requirements for the Financial Accountant include:

• Qualified accountant/Qualified by experience.
• Strong understanding of financial statement concepts and principles
• Excellent technical accounting skills and thorough understanding of IFRS / FRS 101 / UK GAAP

This role would be 1 day per week in the office the rest remote.
