A leading listed international brokerage is looking for an accounting/product controller to join their fast-growing team. This role differs from many similar roles in the market as it offers autonomy and progression that would not necessarily be matched in other similar businesses. The company is growing rapidly and is very competitive in the market with Tier 1 banks and has continued growth plans to support your career progression. This role requires a technically strong qualified accountant with experience in a similar role with product control experience

Duties:

• Daily P/L and balance sheet reporting
• Monthly reporting
• Validation of monthly results
• Assisting in the annual budgeting process
• Involvement in annual audits and financial accounting
• Statutory accounting
• Business partnering and stakeholder management

Experience:

• Accounting Qualification
• Hands-on accounts preparation experience
• Financial services industry experience
• Experience of working within a commodities business would be ideal but is not essential
• Strong IT skills including Excel
