A fast-growing FMCG business based in London are recruiting for a French-speaking Financial Controller to join their team following the acquisition of a new business. This business has grown consistent growth over the last 5 years and are keen on adaptable individuals who can work within an evolving business.

• Lead the financial accounting function for the newly acquired business.
• Provide month-end close reporting & analytics, financial analysis.
• Assist in Monthly/quarterly financial management packages, business reviews, and advisory board meeting decks.
• Assist with third-party audit requests, preparation of year-end audit schedules, and footnote preparation.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and GAAP guidelines.
• Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external partners to maximise performance, creativity, problem-solving, and results.
• Ownership of the monthly financial statement production.
• Ownership of the general ledger.

To be considered for this role.

• A fluent French speaker ideally with knowledge of French accounting.
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Strong technical accounting knowledge - IFRS/GAAP.
• A highly motivated individual who can operate independently.
