Financial Reporting Manger

About the role

An opportunity has arisen to work for a leading multi-national organisation. Owing to internal changes this organisation is seeking a commercially astute finance professional to work closely with Operations.

The responsibilities

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will gain exposure to end to end finance. Your main duties will include:

• Deliver timely and accurate financial reports in accordance with IFRS and local statutory requirements;
• Review all outgoing payments daily to ensure all suppliers paid on time, liaise with Treasury department and Business departments with any queries.
• Review & approve monthly bank reconciliations and reports for assigned entities
• Review VAT returns and Corporation Tax returns for UK entities
• Liaise with internal corporate departments (Treasury, IT, Tax, HR etc) in order to anticipate and resolve problems.
• Prepare the statutory financial statements for UK entities and provide technical support and guidance to EMEA entities;
• Support the development and monitoring of appropriate internal controls
• Ensure the timely delivery of supporting information for internal and external audits;
• Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions;
• Provide guidance and support to business departments and regional corporate departments as required
• Assist in any necessary change / development of the accounting system & treasury system

The successful applicant must:

• Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet tight deadlines whilst managing conflicting priorities;
• Demonstrable knowledge of accounting treatments (UK GAAP and IFRS);
• Proven ability in Management & Financial Accounting
• Practice Trained
• 5 Years post qual
