Job description

KennedyPearce is working with a real estate company based in London hiring a motivated and curious Junior Internal Auditor to join their high-performing global function. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional who's interested in risk, controls, internal audit, or IT audit and is looking for a structured development path. As a Junior Internal Auditor, you'll support the delivery of audits across the Group, working closely with experienced auditors and business stakeholders. You'll gain hands-on exposure to financial, operational, and IT audits while developing a strong understanding of risk management and control frameworks. This role includes international travel (approx. 5-6 trips per year, around 12 weeks in total), giving you the opportunity to collaborate with teams across the world and gain insight into how our global business operates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, executing, and reporting on internal audits across financial, operational, and IT areas
  • Support the testing and evaluation of internal controls
  • Help identify risks, control weaknesses, and opportunities for process improvements
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to gather information and understand processes
  • Maintain and update audit documentation to a high professional standard
  • Participate in follow-up reviews to ensure agreed actions have been implemented
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the internal audit function

Ideal Candidate:

  • A recent graduate (any discipline considered, but finance, business, economics, IT, or related fields are advantageous)
  • Genuine interest in internal audit, risk, controls, or IT audit
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Self-motivated, organised, and eager to learn
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
