An instantly recognisable drinks brand are recruiting for an ambitious management accountant due to an internal promotion. The business has undergone a sustained period of growth and are looking for someone to be part of their ongoing expansion plans.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the management accountant will have responsibility for managing an assistant and to support their ongoing development.

Other responsibilities include:

• Managing the month-end close including management accounts, analysis on financial performance and budget v forecast variance analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Oversee working capital movements
• Cash-flow management
• Partnering with the group accountant to prepare year-end accounts
• HMRC filings
• Providing training and ongoing support for one direct report

The successful candidate:

• Qualified accountant or finalist (ACCA, CIMA OR ACA) with experience within a FMCG (F&B preferred)
• Excellent technical accounting knowledge
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to partner with wider teams
• Experience with an ERP system and Excel
