Job description

An International Banking Client based in Harrow seek a Marketing & Events Assistant to support their dynamic financial services marketing team.

This varied role covers everything from supporting events and producing marketing materials, to helping with digital marketing and administrative tasks. You'll play a key part in delivering internal and external communications and enhancing the banks digital presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support planning and coordination of events (internal and external), including managing logistics, collateral, and event reports

  • Assist with developing marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, and internal communications

  • Contribute to social media content development and scheduling

  • Help maintain and update website content

  • Draft and update marketing reports and performance metrics

  • Liaise with agencies and vendors on event materials and campaign assets

  • Assist with campaign tracking and execution

  • Administration & Coordination

  • Organise meetings and liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders

  • Prepare PowerPoint decks, Excel trackers and Word documents to support marketing projects

  • Maintain marketing collateral inventory and manage distribution

  • Support budget coordination and invoice processing

  • Keep digital storage of all marketing assets up to date and accessible

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience in marketing or communications, ideally Banking or FS

  • Strong understanding of social media and digital marketing platforms

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills

  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Comfortable working independently and under tight deadlines

  • Familiarity with website content management systems

  • Must have Full Uk working rights and experience gained in the UK
