Typical responsibilities for Trade and Transaction Reporting roles include:

  • Preparing and submitting timely and accurate trade and transaction reports (e.g., EMIR, MiFIR, SFTR, Dodd-Frank)

  • Investigating and resolving reporting exceptions and data breaks

  • Liaising with internal stakeholders (compliance, operations, technology) to ensure data integrity

  • Performing reconciliation between internal systems and trade repositories

  • Maintaining awareness of evolving regulatory requirements and industry standards

  • Participating in remediation projects, regulatory audits, and change initiatives

  • Implementing process improvements to reduce reporting errors and enhance efficiency

  • Ensuring robust controls are in place to mitigate reporting risk

  • Working closely with external vendors, trade repositories, and regulatory bodies

  • Supporting system testing, UAT, and upgrades related to reporting platforms
