We are currently recruiting an Accounts Assistnat for a leading Business Services Company in Bromley. Based in Bromley town Centre the role of an Accounts Assistant will be responsible for undertaking and administering the accounts and associated aspects of the Group of companies; this includes assisting finance manager, directors and company secretarial duties. To work in the preparation of business plans, shareholder, investor, accountant and bank liaison reports as required.

Supporting the Finance Manager day to day responsibilities as Accounts Assistant will include:

  • End-to-end management of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable ledgers
  • Daily reconciliations including bank and internal systems
  • Cash flow forecast, availability and requirement
  • Financial reporting and data monitoring as required
  • Preparing group accounts and monthly reporting (Quickbooks and Excel)
  • Assisting accountant to produce VAT, Tax, Companies House, Shareholder and other returns
  • Liaising with banks, auditors, clients and others as required
  • Other ad hoc office duties and ad hoc assistance to team members

The Candidate

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in similar role in an Accounts role
  • Quickbooks experience is compulsory
