Job description


We are looking for experienced Accounts Assistants who are immediately available and looking for temporary opportunities.
The requirements of the role include:

* Timely and accurate processing, reconciling and payment of supplier, freelancer and employee expenses/invoices
* Posting and allocation of payments
* Maintaining of email inboxes
* Managing advances to employee ledger and escalation to business/management where required
* Building relationships with suppliers and employees, spanning multiple markets and dealing in multiple currencies
* Building relationships with internal departments
* Quickly becoming the trusted first port of call for employee queries
* Working with AP Manager to develop improvements to the AP processes
* Ensuring all work is done in line with audit compliance regulations
* Making sure all filing relevant to this role is done regularly
* Making sure the weekly payment schedule is completed in line with department deadlines
* Ensure adherence to employee expenses policy when processing claims and challenge business where required
* Adhoc AP assistance on other Vendor accounts

Requirements:
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritise
* Experience in Accounts Payable
* High level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
* Intermediate Excel skills
* Confident written communication with the ability to respond quickly and succinctly to all queries
* Tenacious and practical problem solving
* Committed and driven to always look for better ways of doing things
* Previous experience of Maconomy would be beneficial but not essential
* Previous experience of SOX would be beneficial but not essential
