We are recruiting for an Accounts Payable candidate to join a very prestigious Private Equity firm based in the West End. This is a temporary role, hybrid working, 6 months with the review to go permanent paying £150 a day.

Our client has summed the role up into 3 main duties

• Invoicing
• Supplier management
• Expenses

Other Duties of Accounts Payable:

• Receive, organise and submit the supplier invoices
• Use the approvals to assist in validating the deal-related purchase invoices with the investment professionals that have requested the work
• Review the deal codes with the deal codes list, if assistance is required query about the deal codes with the investment professionals
• Use the approvals to assist in validating the non-deal related purchase invoices with the appropriate teams, managers and fund heads
• Review and check the payment approval selections are the relevant authorised persons
• Send the payments to the bank by observing the regular office and supplier's payment deadlines
• Review the banks and record related payments in the accounting software
• Follow and guide the business on the set deadlines
• Complete entity responsibilities for period-ends within set deadlines
• Setting up contracts to be used against invoices

• Matching contracts to invoice entries
• Maintaining contracts and managing queries

• Prepare priority payments in the online banking portal
• Run the regional entity's Pay Cycles, review for appropriate approvals

Candidate Requirements

• A year, or more, experience in a similar role (ideally financial services)

• Confident working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook required
• Prior knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise preferred but not compulsory

• Prior knowledge of SAP products Concur, Ariba & SLP preferred but not compulsory
