Job description
We are seeking a Revenue Manager to join a fast-growing, dynamic organisation in Central London. This is a high-profile finance role responsible for overseeing revenue management processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and leading a small team within a collaborative, hybrid-working environment.
Location: Central London (Hybrid - 3 days in the office)
Salary: £75,000-£85,000 base, plus enhanced benefits including:

Reporting Lines:
- Initially reporting to the CFO
- Long-term reporting to the Group Finance Controller (GFC)
- Manage a team of 2 direct reports
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the revenue team, ensuring accuracy in billing, revenue recognition, and balance sheet postings for public and private customers
- Apply revenue recognition principles and ensure compliance with IFRS 15 (or equivalent standards)
- Produce senior management and Board reporting, ensuring integrity of monthly activity reports
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (IT, Business Intelligence, Operational teams) to resolve billing and reporting issues
- Analyse complex financial and operational data using SQL, Tableau, and advanced Excel; ensure high-quality reporting and data integrity
- Drive continuous improvement, streamlining processes and enhancing data reuse and reporting efficiency
- Liaise with customers to resolve queries and provide excellent service
- Act as lead point of contact for revenue audits, testing, and system upgrades or implementations
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of high performance and professional growth
Skills & Experience Required:
- Fully or near-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred
- Demonstrable experience in applying revenue recognition principles and understanding IFRS 15 (desirable)
- Advanced Excel skills essential; experience with reporting tools (e.g., Tableau) desirable
- Strong understanding of accounting practices including cash vs. accruals accounting
- Experience in data management, stakeholder engagement, and relationship building with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven experience in continuous improvement, systems implementation, and report building/testing
- Experience coaching and mentoring a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
