Job description

A well-known manufacturing business is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk for a company in Melksham. This is a great opportunity for an experienced individual to take on a new challenge within this thriving business and add value. This is 12 month Fixed term contract but there is a strong possibility the role will go perm. The maximum salary is £24,000 and will be remote working for the immediate term.

The Role

As the Accounts Payable Assistant, your main duties will consist of:

  • Processing invoices; coding, matching purchase orders
  • Processing payments
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Dealing with queries
  • General admin and adhoc duties

Profile

To be consider for the Accounts Payable Assistant vacancy, you must have the following skills/attributes:

  • Must have a minimum 18 months experience within an accounts payable/purchase ledger role
  • Self starter
  • Hard work ethic
  • High level of accuracy
  • Good communications skills
