Our client, an internationally recognised FMCG brand, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable to join their vibrant team on a permanent basis. This role will be fully responsible for the accounts receivable management of a portfolio. The main purpose of the role is to minimise credit risk, maximise cash flow and create value add relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer payments made in line with agreed payment terms
• Monitor and resolve customer queries
• Maintain and manage customer credit limits to effectively mitigate credit risk
• Develop and manage customer relationships to establish effective ways of working
• Establish and manage monthly reporting distribution and commentary to key stakeholder
• Support Credit Risk Manager to meet all month end deliverables & targets
• Ensure accuracy of customer accounts minimizing bad debts
• Supporting the team with treasury management and the annual audit process
• Monitor cash receipts and ensure accurate posting to customer accounts
• Manage customer account reconciliations and maintain accurate sales ledger
• Drive the internal brand image of the AR team
• Provide insights, data and reporting to key stakeholders at all levels

Requirements

• Relevant experience in a similar Accounts Receivable role
• FMCG background - strongly advantagous
• Media/Retail background - advantagous
• Part qualified/QBE accountant with basic knowledge of accounting and finance reporting principles
• Socialable personality with strong communication skills
• Deadline driven; able to prioritse tasks and manage own workload
• Team player
• SAP - advantageous
• Intermidiate Excel skills
