TV Production Organisation are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their business based in West London

Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant include:

• Accurately maintain production accounts by verifying, allocating and posting transactions
• Bank reconciliations
• Deliver a wide range of purchase ledger related activities including supplier payments, rectifying supplier payment queries, preparing remittance advice notes, advising on cash flow constraints, and reconciling the purchase ledger
• Statement and balance sheet reconciliation's
• Management of purchase cards and reconciliations
• Cash and foreign currency
• Invoicing
• Ad-hoc duties

Key requirements for the Assistant Accountant role include:

• Minimum of 2 years accounting experience working in practice or industry
• Ability to take the initiative as well as working well in a team
• Strong Excel skills
• Exposure to Xero is advantageous
• Strong communication skills
• TV production/Media experience would be advantageous
• Hand on attitude
• Meticulous and strong attention to detail is essential for this role.
