Assistant Financial Accountant

My client is looking for an experienced Assistant Financial Accountant to join their team of a rapidly growing Fintech company, offering a huge potential for learning and development alongside career progression in one of the most exciting and pre-eminent industries in the financial world.

As Assistant Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Prepare and review of period end management accounts
• Ensure the fixed asset register is maintained
• Manage period end and fixed asset spend reporting
• Prepare periodic balance sheet reconciliations

• Assist with the preparation of annual corporation tax computations.

• Manage and prepare the annual statutory accounts
• Liaise with and provide support to company auditors as and when required
• Liaise with and provide support to internal stakeholders
• Assist in the production of periodic forecasts and annual budgets
• Other ad-hoc reporting as required

Skills and Qualifications needed for Assistant Financial Accountant:

• Working towards ACCA/CIMA
• At least 3 years experience in a relevant accounting role (within the financial services industry preferred)
• Excellent numeracy and communication skills
• Fluency in Ms Excel and good knowledge of other relevant software
