The Company

My client is an international recruitment business specialising in the supply of permanent and interim expertise with offices in London and internationally.


The Role

The Assistant Management Accountant will be reporting to the Finance Director and will play a key role in ensuring that the Finance function continues to adapt to the changing needs and requirements of a growing business.

  • Manage permanent fee billings
  • Credit Control for the UK
  • Reconcile all UK bank accounts, in Multi-currencies
  • Manage day to day relationship with Invoice Factoring partner
  • Maintenance of the ledger
  • Cash Posting
  • Month end reconciliation
  • Manage Purchase ledger for the UK
  • Prepare quarterly VAT Returns for review
  • Be the go-to person in Finance
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly billing
  • Ensure overseas Umbrella and local payroll payments are managed

Month End Tasks

  • Own the Budgeting and P&L for all divisions
  • Assist in monthly Board Pack production for all UK entities, including preparation of P&L, Balance Sheet and Commentary
  • Prepare and post Month End journals for the UK (including Accruals and Prepayments)
  • Complete monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of the Accounts
  • Assist with preparation of Staff Payroll and Commissions

The Candidate

  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA Part Qualified/Finalist
