Job description

My client, a leading International Bank currently on a growth trajectory are currently looking for a Wholesale Banking Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers Hybrid working with 1- 2 days in the office.

Responsibilities of the Wholesale Banking Analyst

  • Assist the team in daily support duties to provide a high level of customer service to CIB clients

  • Day-to-day account management queries across CIB client base including (but not limited to):

  1. Balances on account

  2. Statements

  3. Audit request

  4. Cheque verification

  5. Deposit placing

  • Handling client calls and (on selective basis) meeting clients in the absence of a Relationship Manager and allocate calls to the relevant member of staff within C&I

  • Support scheduling customer appointments

  • Preparation of and follow up to Relationship Managers' client interaction including:

  1. Call report logging

  2. Follow up on action points with internal stakeholders

  3. Opening new accounts in conjunction with the relationship manager and Senior analyst for Customer Due Diligence ("CDD") requirements

  • Assisting with reviews of existing client files due to ongoing regulatory changes

  • Assist with various special projects as instructed

  • Filing and general administration support to C&IB

  • In addition to the duties listed, the employee may, from time to time, be required to perform other duties assigned by the Manager

Skills / Attributes Required

  • 18 months experience within Banking Industry

  • Proficient in Excel (Advanced Level Desirable)

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills

  • Experience with Loans Admin

  • Experience with trade finance
