Leading Trading client based in Moorgate is on the look out for a Billing Analyst for a 12 month contract - The Billing Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that all our clients bills are received,validated and paid on time.

The ideal candidate will come from a trading background and have at least 2+ years experience as a billing analyst.

• Process payment for the weekly payment file and invoices.
• Utilise tools such as Oracle / procurement to raise Purchase Orders required for the payment of invoices.
• Work to resolve and approve invoice exceptions
• Document and support billing requirements for all retailers with whom we work with on a national basis.
• Facilitate the billing process ) as instructed by National Manager - Utility Operations.
• Liaise with the Billing Coordinator and Utilities Account Managers to understand the billing processes across regions and retailers to identify process improvements.
• Maintain regular communications with the Finance to support them with the requested billing data.
• Work with the Procurement to set up new vendors and update the details of existing one
• Promote and communicate awareness of issues and matters of importance to all relevant stakeholders;
• Provide feedback to National Manager - Utility Operations to improve the efficiency of auto bill validation system
• Ad hoc analysis

• Demonstrated track record in billing or data analysis
• Demonstrated analytical thinking utilising technical knowledge in identifying and addressing problems and anticipate likely challenges and establish the best approach to address
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills which will be instrumental in establishing effective internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Proven capability in optimising core organisational, systems and processes, to achieve high efficiency and with a focus on best practice, innovation & growth.
• Tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce, computing or equivalent
• 2+ years experience in a billings role
• Must have been in a Billings role in the last 6 months.
