Job description

My client is a market leader in the Healthcare logistics sector. The team consists of highly experienced professionals who are industry experts. The role is permanent and offers hybrid working model.

The main responsibilities will be, not limited to;

  • Take full responsibility for cash allocation of all incoming payments, both internal and external, ensuring accurate and timely posting in line with agreed expectations
  • Monitor and reconcile incoming cash daily, ensuring all receipts are correctly allocated and discrepancies are investigated promptly
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders to support the prompt resolution and allocation of outstanding cash items
  • Contact customers as required to obtain remittance information for unallocated or partially allocated payments, maintaining a professional and appropriate approach
  • Manage and respond to intercompany cash allocation requests and queries
  • Liaise with other departments where necessary to resolve allocation issues and ensure financial accuracy
  • Support ad hoc projects as required by senior finance leadership, including account closure activities
  • Ensure all cheque payments are delivered to the bank in line with agreed schedules and allocated accurately upon receipt
  • Escalate unresolved cash allocation issues promptly to avoid month-end backlogs
  • Maintain responsibility for a small credit control ledger, ensuring balances remain accurate and up to date

Additional Skills

  • Circa 2 years Accounting and Finance experience
  • Excellent communication & time management skills
  • Ability to manage a steady but high inflow of work and strict deadlines
  • Willingness to work in a primarily team based environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise work; and
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
