Job description

Join a large international pubishing company as a French Speaking Collections Analyst. You will report to the EMEA Collections Supervisor based in the London Office and would cover several EMEA countries, mainly France. You will also be part of the admin and distribution project for Russia invoices and other relevant documents.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities as Collections Analyst

  • Regular and professional quality phone calls and email contact with assigned customers mainly to build customer relationships and to ensure minimum bad debt risk through timely payment of invoices and account reconciliations.
  • Interact daily with clients in regards to the overdue invoices and payment issues. This is to be completed by achieving assigned collections and call quality targets
  • Provide high-quality customer service in a timely manner
  • Maintain client confidentiality and deliver a consistent and professional level of service at all times
  • Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships within all departments within the company, mainly with Sales, Disputes and Order Processing (Billing)
  • Act in compliance with company goals, policies, and procedures as they pertain to collection activity, our collections strategy and specified Accounts Receivable goals and objectives
  • Inform sales representatives and Collections management of significant changes in account status in a timely and professional manner
  • Meet defined department and individual goals along with assigned month end reporting deadlines and activity metrics
  • Properly escalate accounts at risk to Management in a timely manner per company Policy
  • Maintain regular and detailed notes and client information in the online collection tool
  • Research and perform special projects and other activities as needed

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Fluency in French and English
  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
  • 2+ years collections experience preferred in a Corporate & B2B environments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Maintain a high level of customer service, internally and externally
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
  • Advanced Microsoft & Google suite skills
  • Preferred history of demonstrated success in a fast paced, flexible environment with shifting demands and priorities
  • Strong attention to detail, goal oriented, the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
  • Develop a positive working relationship with internal and external stakeholders

Salary

£30,000 + hybrid working
