Job description

Global Organisation seeks a Commercial Pricing Analyst to join their team based in West London. Reporting directly Commercial Controller the Commercial Pricing Analyst will be responsible for assisting in pricing of new sales opportunities, upkeep and maintenance of pricing models and the on-going management of client contractual documentation.

This role will assume responsibility in the sales process where the individual will need to co-ordinate multiple stakeholders and bring together the various inputs into one comprehensive pricing model. Part of the process will be to identify financial and commercial risks and the support of client facing personnel in all aspects of client engagement from a commercial and contractual perspective

Duties of the Commercial Pricing Analyst include:

  • Preparing customer facing pricing (multicurrency) and internal executive presentations to enable informed decision-making in collaboration with bid support and sales
  • Completing ad-hoc analysis showing the financial impact of different pricing scenarios
  • Identify and recommend optimal vendor/volume related pricing for bids to maximise benefit and minimise corporate risk
  • Ensuring all pricing process and procedures are being followed; looking for opportunities on a continual basis to enhance procedures
  • Responsible for supporting the upkeep of pricing model (regular updates and testing) as required
  • Maintaining the accuracy and consistency of opportunities within the CRM system and liaising with group on CRM audits
  • Coordinate new client onboarding process, handover of commercials to operations
  • Supporting Senior Analyst on global bids and taking on such tasks independently in near future
  • Weekly and monthly TCV, TCC reporting for UK, ROI and APAC
  • Analyse annual cost rate increases and communicate changes to various business owners
  • Maintain Sales Commission Plan for UK and ROI
  • Ad-hoc controlling responsibilities as required

Skills/Requirements for the Commercial Pricing Analyst include:

  • Advanced knowledge of financial ratios and concepts with good analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel with the ability to use various functions and formulas
  • In previous roles would have been exposed to various pricing and cost allocation models
  • VBA and SAP knowledge (Is a plus)
  • Knowledge of Power BI
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work on multiple bids during busy periods and delivering independently within tight deadlines
  • A genuine all-rounder and consistent performer able to undertake multitude of tasks within the commercial department
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing tender documents
  • Willingness to work hard and beyond the remit where necessary
