Our client, a global bank, is looking to hire a Compliance Officer on a 6M FTC contract to become an essential part of a collaborative Compliance & AML team.
Based full time (5 days per week) in their central London office and offering a base salary up to £50,000 (no bonus). - It's a great next step for someone who's wanting more responsibility in a generalist compliance role.
Responsibilities:
Act as an advisory point of contact for compliance matters and support the Head of compliance with implementing frameworks and policies.
Also keep up to date with changing regulations, conducting compliance reviews, reporting and monitoring.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders and management across the whole bank to ensure a positive compliance culture.
Ideally you will be or have:
2 - 3 years of experience, within a compliance related position in a corporate banking environment.
Practical experience with compliance policy and frameworks, financial crime knowledge, and liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
Detailed knowledge of FCA Regulations and AML / KYC policies, and technical expertise advising on compliance.
A collaborative nature, relationship builder with a positive and pro-active approach towards compliance.
