Background

• Part of this project is to create a data warehouse for the Real Estate business, to drive efficiency in investor and KPI reporting.
• This role is responsible for delivery of the data build and definitions to the technology team to allow the ongoing development of the Data Warehouse. Components of the project have been completed, including defining a number of the data sets. There will be the opportunity for a handover with the current contractor fulfilling this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop a detailed understanding of the project management process
• Developing a revised project management timeline
• Complete the project coordination implementation process for the below (this does not include the technical implementation):
• Fund Cash Flows & Static Information (this is ongoing and will be largely complete)
• Valuations & Debt Management (this is ongoing and will be largely complete)
• Project Track Record
• Asset Key Performance Indicators
• The project coordination implementation process for each of the above will include:
• Preparation of a data matrix to define the datasets
• Liaison with different teams (Origination, Asset Managers, Investor Relations, Finance) to ensure that all business needs are captured
• Preparation of examples of data structures and calculations in excel
• Assisting the technology team in preparation of the PIR (Project Initiation Request)
• Review the data matrix and Horizon build
• Collate the datasets
• Input the data, ideally with the use of upload tools with the support of IT specialists
• Verify reporting
• In consultation with the business, develop the dashboards to provide an interactive overview of key data

• Ensuring the timeline is adhered to; identifying and communicating roadblocks and offering solutions

Preferred experience

• Time in a real estate private equity fund environment
• Financial reporting background, such as in a treasury role

Analysis of key performance data for real estate, such as Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Equity Multiples, ERV's, and Interest Cover Ratios
