Job description
I am working with a market leading, fully integrated real estate company offering expertise in investment, development, and property management of multifamily residential properties globally.
The UK business is rapidly growing, providing exceptional accommodation through it's Chapter platform, as well as an expanding portfolio of Multifamily Private Rental properties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
● To deliver the 'end to end' month end process
● Business Partnering with commercial finance and other external stakeholders
● To build key relationships with the Payroll system Fourth
● To understand and track the quarterly bonus schedule and payment against accruals
● To understand and track the monthly risks and opportunities within your key P&L lines
● To own the month end balance sheet reconciliations
● To own the P&L distribution process for operations teams and overheads
● To support the Head of MA and FD with ad hoc requests
● To identify process improvements and implement solutions which support the delivery of better information and insight
● To drive improved processes and reporting
● To support the FPA & MA team with Budget submissions and Analysis
REQUIREMENTS
● Newly qualified accountant (ACCA)
● Strong technical ability ideally from an accounting background
● Strong excel proficiency
● Experience with period end and balance sheet reconciliations
● Experience with multi-site business preferable but not essential
● Coda & Cognos system experience preferable but not essential
● Experience with business partnering non-finance heads
● Experience in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts
● Ambitious self-starter who is assertive with good interpersonal skills
● High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines
● Ability to manage various levels of stakeholders throughout the business
● Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment
