My client is a leading mid-tier investment bank based in the heart of the City looking to recruit an experienced Expenses Accountant.

Role responsibilities:

• Responsible for the firms overheads
• Month end accruals, prepayments and expense allocations
• Reviewing expenditure by account departments to ensure all costs have been correctly accounted for an properly allocated as part of the month end process
• Working closely with the AP/AR analyst to ensure all invoices are correctly coded
• Cover for AP from time to time - bank reconciliations and when volumes are high
• Ensuring balance sheet accounts are maintained and reconciled
• Working with auditors to ensure a smooth and successful year end process

Candidate requirements:

• Must be Qualified -ACCA/CIMA
• Immediately available/1 week
• Ideally have Financial Services industry experience
